I love a chatty kind of blog, and I realised that I haven’t given you all an update in a while! So, I thought I would give you a little insight into what my life has been like recently…
Firstly, and probably the most exciting thing is that Jockey and Jill is now in two shops!! You can shop a limited range of our clothing in Express Equine based in Wymondham, and in 4 legs and 2 based in Blofield!! In Norfolk! This is something that was on my list of goals this year and I am so excited about it! If you would like to see Jockey and Jill in a saddlery near you! Then please recommend us!
Secondly, I have FINALLY completed my apprenticeship in management and leadership for my full-time job… yes, I work full time for my parents’ business alongside running Jockey and Jill! This is something I would love to talk more about on my blogs to give you all some more information on how I balance everything!
I also have an update on my little cob Rupert! We have been having lessons with the amazing Freddy Steele, and he’s worked miracles with us! Rupert is now working correctly and is really enjoying his work, he’s also lost a bit of weight, and I have massively got my motivation back for being in the saddle. However, he came in the other day with a big mark on his face and was swollen, turns out the poor boy is allergic to bee stings! So, after I had a meltdown about it, I have given him some anti-allergy tablets, and he is doing really well!

We have a few things in the pipeline including a new autumn/ winter range and are planning our stand for London International! But before then I am looking forward to a much-needed week in the sun! But I will obviously be taking my planner and laptop in case I have any amazing ideas!!
I would love to do some more of these chatty type blogs because half my problem is that I overthink what I should write, when actually, the type of content I like reading is this because I’m nosy! We all are really; we just don’t admit it!
