Just realised I never done a Norfolk show blog for this year!
It started much the same as last year, we went up on the Sunday again, this time I had enlisted the help of my Grandparents, uncle, mum, and boyfriend, because as I say ‘many hands make light work’.
Well… the work ended up being VERY light! We got the little tent put up no problem, this is just a pop up tent, and then got the base of the big tent put together, it was at this point I realised I had used the box of connecting pieces and corners to prop up the door, and that it was still in Yarmouth 40 minutes away!
I was convinced my dad was going to be really annoyed that he had to come out to bring them, however, if you read my Norfolk show 2024 blog, you would remember that he forgot the top of the tent last year!! So, he had no place to be angry!
We all waited, and dad eventually got there with all the extra bits, this however was when we realised, that actually that wasn’t all the bits, and two joining pieces had been taken out of the box for some reason we still don’t know.
So, by this point, I’m feeling pretty annoyed and decide to call it a day and go back on the Tuesday! So, we all go back on the Tuesday, and my boyfriend conveniently turns up just as we’re doing up the last few screws!! Typical!
But I can’t moan, he stayed there with me until quite late to get the clothing all sorted and on the rails. We went and grabbed some dinner and had an early night.
